The 4-piece Illustrated Kid’s Dish Set, made with FSC certified bamboo fibre and soy inks, has been designed for pint-sized hands and eating habits. The set includes a shallow bowl, plate, cup, and a small spoon.

To extend the life of these products, we've combined natural woody fibers with a 100% food-grade melamine binder. Our eco-composite is made with natural elements; therefore, slight color imperfections or inconsistencies may occur.

These dishes are shatterproof— meaning they can be cracked if thrown/dropped, but will NOT shatter into tiny pieces like glass or ceramic might.

Little Wares Thoughts: The Ekobo products are our environmentally and health-conscious swap for plasticware. They are lightweight and easy to clean, and we just love the minimalist designs and colors. Remember that these are not recommended to be microwaved (it compromises the integrity of the melamine binder), so please take care to heat your food in microwave-safe containers before plating it for your child. 

FYI: When shopping for plastic-free dishware swaps, know that no “bamboo” dishware is completely plastic-free, because it needs a “binder” to hold the fiber together. That is usually a melamine binder. Melamine is a type of plastic that is safe for food (BPA/PVC free), but under high heat is compromised. Which is why Ekobo products are not made to be microwaved. If you want a truly plastic-free option, try stainless steel!
