Ekobo’s aim is to create bamboo-based tableware that is non-toxic and sourced from the waste product of chopstick factories, giving the material a new life. All of their products are non-toxic and will never fade, peel, or leach chemicals.
Their premium bamboo fiber collection started with one kid set. When the founders were new parents, they saw the need for reusable, non-toxic dishware for kids. Leaning on years of expertise in Fairtrade bamboo handicraft and background in product design, in 2010, they developed what is now their signature BIOBU® bamboo fiber eco-composite.
