The Kamal Jacket is made in India with the greatest care and with respect for quality craftsmanship. It is designed to be oversized.
Each jacket is made from a 100% cotton fabric worked using 2 different methods:
1. Khadi, a traditional Indian fabric woven from natural materials such as cotton, is spun by hand with respect for the environment.
2. The Indian block-print which consists in printing by hand, thanks to stamps cut in the wood, patterns in colors made from a mixture of natural pigments. This fabric is also environmentally friendly as it contains no chemicals and the colors are fixed with a mixture of water and white vinegar. This manual production can lead to certain "irregularities" whose charm is why we love them.
Little Wares Thoughts: This oversized jacket is great for cooler months and will allow for years of ware when you cuff the sleeves. Due to the dyeing of this piece, Apaches recommends dry cleaning this jacket as needed.
