Candylab’s mission is to make wooden toys better than plastic ones. 

Their products are made using wood from sustainably managed forests, and non-toxic water-based paints. The chassis on the underbelly of the vehicle is a diecast alloy base with ABS plastic wheels. The “food trucks” have PVC plastic toppers. Every vehicle comes in a cardboard box. 

They take their quality and workplace ethics seriously, with an office in China at their production facility, they ensure ethical treatment, conditions & pay of their employees. The products safety tested according to US CPSIA and European, Australian and New Zealand regulations. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

Little Wares Thoughts: If you’ve ever purchased toys for children, you know how difficult it is to completely avoid plastic. We really value the creative, open ended play that playing with toy cars allows little ones, so we very carefully selected Candylab cars to sell in our shop. We feel that although they don’t avoid plastic, their efforts in sustainability and workplace ethics are strong and that they are making an incredibly high quality product to last generations. 

Remember, these cars aren’t safe to be put into mouths as their small parts can be choking hazards if they come off. So make sure your littlest ones aren’t playing with these unsupervised.
